If you’d like to donate with a check or money order, please make them payable to Word Up Community Bookshop and send to 2113 Amsterdam Avenue, New York NY 10032. As we are a program of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Seven Stories Institute, your donation will be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

    Hi, I hadn’t heard of you before and I live right on 180 St. in Washington Heights. I’d like to know if you accept donations of books.

      Hello Mercedes, thanks for your comment and question. We are not accepting book donations at the moment seeing that we have no physical location, but once we have a space and everything is running smoothly, or as smoothly as we possibly can :-), we will be taking book donations again.
