Lectura de las participantes del taller de escritura creativa en español coordinado por Claudia Prado, con el apoyo de Culture Push, Poets & Writers y Word Up Community Bookshop – Evento en español

Public reading by participants of the Spanish-Language Creative Writing Workshop facilitated by Claudia Prado and supported by Culture Push, Poets & Writers and Word Up Community Bookshop – Event in Spanish

Lxs invitamos a una lectura del taller de escritura creativa en español que realizamos durante las últimas semanas mujeres inmigrantes de diversos barrios de Nueva York y New Jersey. Aunque no hemos podido encontrarnos, continuamos compartiendo la lectura y la escritura. Algunas hemos pasado estas semanas en las casas, otras yendo a trabajar. Para todas, las palabras son una de las maneras de hacer lo mejor que podemos de estos días, de contarlos desde nuestro lugar, de compartir y sostenernos.

We invite you to a public reading in Spanish by immigrant women from various neighborhoods in New York and New Jersey. Although we have not been able to meet, we continue to share our reading and writing. Some of us have spent these weeks at home, others going to work. For all of us, words are one of the ways to do the best we can these days, to talk about them from our place, to share with others and to sustain ourselves.
