July 31 – LGBTQ Children’s Book Reading and Social / Playdate at Uptown Community Bookstore

Front Cover JPG The Adventures of Mrs Patropolis

Please join Princeton FFR/BTGALA and Yale GALA, Inc., for a children’s book reading by board member Diana Silverman and social gathering at Word Up Bookstore. People of all ages are welcome — everyone is welcome!
What do a dancing bagel, a missing saber tooth, and a disappearing Egyptian statue all have in common?  They are all part of the magical universe of Mrs. Patropolis, who takes her niece and nephew, Ellie and Daniel, on adventures around New York City.  Together they meet cats of many colors, not to mention a couple of zany dogs, and they attend parties, theaters and museums, sometimes in the company of their neighbors, longtime women life partners, Masha and Kasha, as well as Mr. Rashid Katz and his little white fuzzy dog, Paco.
When: Sunday, July 31, from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, with the reading at 4.00pm
Where: Word Up Community Bookshop, 3113 Amsterdam Avenue (at the corner of 165th Street) – take the A train to 168th Street or the C train to 163rd Street https://wordupbooks.wordpress.com/
